I was thinking a lot if I'm gong to read this book or not. Even though I really liked the movie, but I read so many different opinions, so I really didn't know what to think about the book, since sometimes movies are different than books. With this book there are two groups of readers, the ones who love it and ones who hate it. And I'm definitely in group one, because I really loved that book. The story is so sad, but it's also so sweet. So it won my heart.
Mia is 17-years old girl, whose life changes in a single moment, when on snowy day she and her family get into a car accident and when she wokes up, se realizes that she isn't in her body, so she's going to follow her body and what's going on around that. And she has to decided whether to stay or not. But choosing is hard, because she has lost a lot and will wake up as orphan, but in the other hand there are still many loving people around her.
A big part of the book is in her memories and some is in what's going on right now. And trough the memories you will see why it's so hard for her to choose life or death. And if I hadn't seen the movie before, it would of been even more interesting, because then I wouldn't of know what choice she was making. I definitely want to read second book as well, since I have heard that it's better than, the first one. People say that there are more plot than there were in the first one. And it's funny how people, who don't like the book, say that it's unrealistic that someone is in coma and her spirit watches over what's going on around. But it's fiction, so it dosen't have to be real . At least that's my opinion.
